The Muppets are hungry...
So the Swedish Chef must prepare some food for them.
But alas!
Someone has completely messed up his kitchen!
Can you help him find the necessary food items?

How the game works

There will be four categories of food with six items in each.
You have to guess which items are the wanted ones.
In your post choose one item from each category.
In every update I will tell you if you have any correct guesses
(in no specific order, so you have to figure out which item is correct and which is not).
The first person to collect the required combination wins.

Also

- Everyone is welcome to join in at any time: no sign-ups!
- You may only write down your items, but additional RP will be appreciated!
- Have fun!

"Oh! Oh oh ohhhhh!" Miss Piggy wailed, gazing about the kitchen with a distraught toss of her luscious locks. "Moi is so distressed! Oh! What is one to dooo?" Like the rest of the Muppets, Piggy enjoyed her dinner so, but someone had left the kitchen in an absolute shambles, and the Swedish Chef couldn't find anything. It seemed that it was up to Piggy to rescue dinner. With a second, more determined toss of her perfect curls, Piggy raced about the kitchen, muttering, "Let's see.. moi will choose this... and this...."

1: tortilla
2: herring
3: avocado
4: pesto

Shutters pop open near the ceiling of the kitchen and Statler peers over the edge to survey the disaster zone that is the Swedish-Chef's kitchen. There are ingredients everywhere - breads and meats, vegetables and sauces in an array of intriguing and potentially either delicious or horrid combinations. Miss Piggy has made a start at ordering the process, but Statler wiggles his bushy eyebrows in first curiosity and then alarm before covering his eyes with his hand and shaking his head. "No, no, no, no. I can't believe it. The pig may be perfect, but the smorgasbord is doomed with that selection."
Removing his hand from his eyes he starts pointing at ingredients. "First the rye knackebrod, then some fine fresh salmon, topped with sliced cucumbers and just a touch of that pesto." He turned to give a nod to Waldorf. "Now that will make a good smorgasbord sandwich."

'Numbskulls' moaned Dick Dastardly when he heard about the mess in the muppets' kitchen. 'It will need someone of high intelligence to fix that problem and that will be me.' Driving as fast as he could in his supreme Mean Machine, taking a break from dominating the Wacky Races and stopping pigeons, devious Dick headed into the chaotic kitchen and spotted a pig and some old men already there.

'Drat, drat and double drat' he muttered underneath his breath; he thought he be left to his own devices and not have any competition. He was not worried as he had a plan just in case and some dynamite as well, to eliminate those who stood in his way. In the meantime he would see if any drastic measures were necessary by watching his competitors closely and seeing if they were worth the effort. Dick searched around the kitchen to find some ingredients he thought would be needed.

1: wheat bread
2: pork
3: lettuce
4: mustard

Statler

The ingredients would have made an excellent smorgasbord sandwich, but as Statler peered once more at the ingredients he realized they would never do. Something had gotten into the salmon and the knackerbrod was soggy instead of crisp like it should be. Shaking his head in consternation, he hastily examined the other ingredients. What could he substitute that might be just as tasty?
Hmmmmm well, perhaps these would do. "Yes, Yes, Yes" He murmured to Waldorf. "The rye bread should do, with nicely seasoned beef, a ripe slice of tomato, and a dab of mayonnaise. Yes, that should be excellent!"

Professor Farnsworth came walking in, ultrathick glasses on his long nose. he would wizard something together for this dinner. Was it a dinner? He wrote down:

1. tortilla
2. Cheese
3. Avocado
4. Sour cream

Yes this would do! He lifted the glasses and looked lazily around.

Ah this one was right. Professor Farnsworth looked around for a new combination. He wrote down:

1. Cornbread
2. Cheese
3. Tomato
4. Pesto

Oh sure this would do again! He lifted his glasses and emptied his nose in a handkerchief.

Statler muttered to himself as he considered the ingredient options. Perhaps something slightly different this time.
Buckwheat bread with beef, bell pepper, and sour cream.

Statler shook his head at the last combination that did not satisfy the chef. He had run out of beef, but there was one type of meat he had yet to try, and there was one of those shiny purple striped globes that actually didn't taste bad if sliced thinly enough. Hmmmm. He stroked his chin in thought and then pointed to his new combination. Perhaps if the eggplant were lightly fried it would actually taste quite nice.
Rye bread - he liked rye, with seasoned and grilled chicken, topped with eggplant and a little sour cream.

Dick was trying to figure out what ingredients to use. There were that many to choose from but fortunately he was beginning to get an idea of what would work. It devious but it hopefully would help him and the unfortunate muppets.
Casting his keen eyes over the choices, he reached out and chose the wheat bread, some pork, a bell pepper with a healthy dollop of mustard.

'Drat, drat and double drat' cursed Dick when he discovered he had not won the correct combination of ingredients. It was just lie the Wacky Races; just when he thought he was going to win, someone or something got in his way and stopped him in his tracks. He gave the old man who won a menacing stare before sniggering at him, a plan already forming in his dastardly mind.
Looking at the ingredients again, he picked out the following: corn bread, salmon, avocado and ketchup. Not the best combination but as he was not intending to eat it, he didn't care.

Professor Farnsworth ate the combination he had created himself and liked it. But what he had made was not what perhaps the muppets would like. So what would it be now then? He wrote down:

1. Rye bread
2. Beef
3. Tomato
4. Mustard

And he went to work to make this together.

When Gwind arrived in the Shadowed Lands he took notice of a wonderful cooking opportunity. He was a little suprised though, for he did not know that minions would even be interested in such an activity. Eat? Most definitely. But cook!!
Gwind noticed the other people in the room and how hard they were trying. There were burned frypans, dirty kitchen towels and silverware all over the place. This didn't seem like an easy task.

1. knäckebröd
2. cheese
3. bell pepper
4. mayonnaise

Gwind managed to get his eyebrows burned but he wasn't willing to give up. While pretending to search for the sault, he approached Professor Farnsworth to spy on him. He was too busy finding the right combination to notice he was being spied on. Gwind observed carefully and returned to his own table after a little while. He started again brewing, mixing, stirring and tasting hoping he would get it right.

1. knäckerbröd
2. beef
3. bell pepper
4. mayonnaise

The recipe was not entirely correct but Gwind was obviously getting closer. He would experiment more freely be he already burned his eyebrows, he most certainly didn't want to blow off the whole kitchen. After cleaning carefully his pans and stir sticks he went back to work.

1. knäckerbröd
2. beef
3. bell pepper
4. vinegar

All though progress has been made, this looked like alot of work and experimentation. Gwind didn't have anyone else around to spy on anymore so it was up to him to find the secret recipe. But once he would find it, he swore he would party all night long *g*. He looked around to find old recipe books or notes left from the previous contestants but all there was left was some food stains on the walls. Gwind sat at his table striking his beard, trying to give the impression he knew what he was doing when in reality he had no clue where to start.
He looked around again but sadly still no one showed up to help him out. After making a few rounds around the cooking table, he pulled a chair, sighed and sat down. His feet hurt. He stood up.. his eyes were glowing. 'I think I got it' he exclaimed. Without really knowing whether he trully got it, he started mixing up the condiments again.

1. knäckerbröd
2. beef
3. bell pepper
4. sour cream

All though the previous attempt from Gwind to find the right food for the muppets turned out to be a lot less to the swedish chef's liking, he wasn't willing to give up. Yet. But the muppets became so hungry that some of them began to chew on Gwind's kitchen apron. 'This isn't good', he said with a low voice. The person or creature who made this mess in the kitchen seemed to knew what he was doing. Everything was upside down. But there was some hope though as the chef mentioned something about 2 ingredients being correct. It was time to get back to work and start cooking again before everything would get devoured by the muppets.

Gwind took a frying pan and placed it on the stove. He took the knäckerbröd and threw it in the pan while stirring with a wooden spoon. He then took some beef and threw it in without carrying to much about the consequences. It started to smell a little oddly but to Gwind's surprise, the muppets liked it. Perhaps he was on the right way afterall. He looked around thinking what he could use next. He took a cucumber and cut it in small pieces. He threw the pieces in the pan with one hand hand, while pouring some mayonnaise with the other. He then started stirring as hard as he could. The whole thing became like a fluid looking paste, yellowish and bad smelling as hell.

Gwind seemed to see no further than the end of his own nose as he failed again in his atempt to unfold the secret of the magic recipe. He was a disgrace to his white uniform and his cool white hat. After exhaling in a long deep breath, Gwind pulled a chair and sat himself for a minute. He needed a short break to rethink his strategy. All though he had no clue where to start, he stood up driven by the thought that he would only have to figure one more ingredient.

1. tortilla
2. beef
3. bell pepper
4. mayonaisse
