May I mention that the beer taps at The Forsaken are quite good! I'm not sure how they managed to get a firkin of Shagrat & Gorbag Brewing's Barrel-Aged Black Imperial Morgul Stout, but they did!

I will be the first to admit I have fallen asleep there at my table in the Forsaken, but I'm really hoping to get things organized and in gear for a bit of RP now that thing have settled down a bit in real life. Been organizing my character bios and such. Think I may have the gist on how RP works here. About time, as it's only been 8 years since I joined....

Hanasian, I do look forward to RP'ing with you! Let us know if you need any help getting started. I'll probably make a new thread for The Forsaken Inn sometime in December. People would still use the staff so all I need to do is just post the thread over, I believe.

Possibly the Trolls. But if the trolls eat all the newbies, we are justified in eating all the cookies Unleeesssss ... we could try an RPG where the Rangers and Elves would convince the Hobbits to give up their cookies so the Dwarves could feed those cookies to the trolls and .... Ergo newbies safe ! Cue fireworks !!

  54. If I ever delve into such comedic RPGs, that idea would definitely be the first on my list to explore, Cassie .

Trolls, werewolves, barrow-wights, Orcs, Rhudaurin sorcerers, pirates, and nameless monsters (which have now begun being named by me) bothering Eriador are probably just as unlikeable as trolls, too .

*Conspires comedic list* Ah yes, a booze cruise in the Gulf of Lune (aptly named) or a scavenger hunt across the lone lands. A pie eating contest in the Shire or the Bards Guilds annual Pop Idol tournament in Imladris .. Not forgetting the fun of Knock knock ! Who's there ?! At Bree gate ...

Eriador has much potential for newbies, apart from being eaten. We're all so full of pipe weed, cookies (and caffeine), we scarce notice the nasties in Angmar

  56. I will be making a cruise for Lindon which Girion will captain sometime soon with the permission of whoever becomes the mayor of the area. Pop idol RP could be in Bree technically because of the talent show I want to do. I could have a knock-knock contest in the area, too, because of the whole gate duty matter !

*dusts thread* I think we should organize another picnic, Rior. It always seems to bring so many people to the thread... and food. *finds some dusty ale tankards Dinny left here several months ago, an empty candy bowl from the Professor's birthday, drops of lemonade and muffin crumbs, a box of burned fireworks, and many other perfectly useless stuff that may or may not have once been food* No wonder we haven't gotten a newbie in a while - when all we have to offer visitors are those things! *stares at her findings in disgust, then sweeps them outside into the nearest trash can and goes back in to continue organizing the room* We really need some new furniture, candy, drinks, and cookies for the newbies... *bakes cookies*

Many things, actually. In what type of activities are you interested, Lord Voldemort? We currently have a big choice of RPs and games occurring in different Areas of our Region.

  63. Good to see you back, man. Yeah, what Nolewen said. Right now I'm working on mini-stories with others
and those solely written by myself which intensely connect to RPGs which are finishing up and starting soon.
